The VI scientific-technical Seminar of the young scientists and specialists from ROSATOM and the institutes of the Chinese Academy of Engineering Physics dedicated to the 20-th anniversary of collaboration between ROSATOM and the above institutions originating from China was held on 28 – 30 October, 2014, in the Center of International Trade of the city of Nizhny Novgorod. Sixty representatives from VNIIEF, VNIIA, VNIITF and NIIIS were the members of the Russian delegation headed by Sergey Vlasov – the Director of the Department for development of scientific-production basis under the auspices of ROSATOM. The Chinese delegation, comprised of 12 persons, was headed by Vei Kai-Din, the Director of the Department for International Cooperation of the Chinese Academy of Engineering Physics.
The Seminar was entitled as “Wide-range properties of materials under high pressures. Experimental and theoretical aspects.” Young scientists presented 38 reports, 24 of which belonged to the employees of the Russian Nuclear Federal Center.
