RFNC-VNIIEF has participated in 43-d International Exhibition of Inventions of Geneva, which took place in “Pal Expo” Central Exhibition Complex of the city of Geneva, Switzerland on 15-19 April. More than 750 participants from 48 countries have exhibited their inventions. This exhibition is traditionally patronaged by the government of Switzerland, State Council, Administrative Board of Geneva and International Organization for Intellectual Property.
Geneva Innovations Show is one of the largest annual international exhibitions of intellectual property objects. All developments demonstrated by RFNC-VNIIEF there have been awarded with International Jury prizes.
Golden medals have been awarded to two RFNC-VNIIEF developments: “Multichannel secure optic fiber transmission system” (Shubin V.V., Ivchenko S.N., Ovechkin S.I.) and “Method of prediction of vehicles movement in a big city by means of multidimensional simulation of traffic” (Zhigalov V.I.).
Silver medal has been given to “Heat chemical power supply” (Barnashov S.A., Danilova M.V., Zagaynov V.A., Radetskaya E.V., Khakimov A.G., Tschetkin N.M., Korolyova I.V.).
Bronze medal was awarded to “Hamming code decoding device” (Goncharov S.N., Martynov A.P., Novikov A.V., Fomchenko V.N.).
“Inventions incubator” International Center for Technologies Conversion has awarded a cup to RFNC-VNIIEF for participation in Sarov Innovations Cluster and a diploma “For active assistance to scientific and technological advance and high achievements at 43-d International Exhibition of Inventions of Geneva”. Unique developments demonstrated by the Nuclear Center in Geneva attracted mass media interest as well.
VNIIEF advanced technology exhibits at International Exhibition of Inventions demonstrate import substitution and affirm the idea that in the nearest future Russia will be in no need of purchasing anything from abroad.
