RFNC-VNIIEF presented its projects at the 9-th International Exhibition of inventions “SIIF 2013” in Seoul RFNC-VNIIEF presented its projects at the 9-th International Exhibition of inventions “SIIF 2013” in Seoul.The Exhibition is the most highly-ranked event in South-Eastern Asia and is dedicated to inventions, innovations and science-intensive projects. Over 700 innovative projects developed by 400 participants were presented to the visitors. The biggest and most substantial expositions were presented by China (Taiwan), Korea, Malaysia, Russia, Thailand, Iran and Poland.
The Russian Federation exposed 57 prospective science-intensive developments, among which 21 projects were presented by the universities, scientific centers and enterprises of Nizhny Novgorod region. A separate stand amidst the above exhibits demonstrated 4 projects developed in VNIIEF. All the 4 inventions by VNIIEF were awarded with the highest prizes: the golden medals, two of them further awarded with special prizes from the association of the inventors of Poland as well as the Korean Chamber of Commerce. The golden medal and the special prize from Poland were given to the invention named “Spherical absorbers used to purify liquid radioactive wastes” (authors Valery Drozhin, Lev Danilin and Ivan Polenov). The invention named “The facility assigned for storage and feeding of gaseous fuel” (authors Arkady Yukhimchuk, Vladimir Popov, Viktor Baluev, Sergey Grishechkin) was awarded with a special prize from the Korean Chamber of Commerce. Also the golden medals were given to Valery Drozhin, Yury Skorochkin, Alexey Ivanov and Pavel Khokhlov for the invention named “Methods to protect hardware from shock waves” and Alexander Potapov, Boris Derbunovitch, Fedor Shalata and Shota Popov for the invention named “Radiation-safe radionuclide heat sources”.
VNIIEF exposition attracted the attention of scientific and business community of Korean Republic and some other foreign specialists. ‹ Назад
