Publishing activities

Publishing and multi-graphic complex (IPK) incorporated into the Russian Federal Nuclear Center VNIIEF is the biggest publishing enterprise within the State Atomic Energy Corporation “ROSATOM”.
Starting from 2009 FSUE VNIIEF functions as the Governmental Contractor providing scientific publishing services branch-wide.  IPK executes the coordinating activities as the constituent part of RFNC-VNIIEF.
IPK was established to solve the following problems:
 - Develop a centralized system assigned for organization and coordination of scientific publishing activities within the State Corporation “ROSATOM”; generate the objective public opinion about the scientific and technical activities pursued by the State Corporation “ROSATOM”.
 - Create an integrated informational scientific-technical space at the level of the leading world states; update the effectiveness of publishing companies operating within the State Corporation “ROSATOM”.

IPK coordinates scientific publishing activities of the companies incorporated into the State Corporation “ROSATOM”. This includes planning and reporting; generation of legal and methodological backgrounds; training and exchange of experience; development of informational and communication technologies used to proliferate scientific publications; creation of electronic library of the papers already published within the State Corporation “ROSATOM”.
The functions of IPK are: to issue scientific and technical literature related to the subject areas of the branch; to provide the Institute with multi-graphic industrial and economic materials; to produce different published materials on the order of off-site clients.
The multi-graphic complex is located in a special building equipped with stocking premises. IPK consists of the following structural divisions: automated preparation of dummy layouts; multi-graphic shop (including sectors of letterpress printing, offset printing, book binder’s, electromechanical); MTS&S; planned-economic group.
IPK runs the complete cycle of publishing process, starting from preparation of layouts to replication.
IPK publishes scientific-technical collected papers and monographs of scientists; books belonging to “Atomic Project” series; scientific and technical magazines; reference books; advertizing booklets and another multi-graphic products.
