The Conference is a tribute to the memory of the outstanding XX century scientist, the unchallenged
leader of RFNC-VNIIEF, academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences Yuly Borisovitch Khariton
(1904-1996). The first Conference was held on 1-4 March, 2001 Juvenile Khariton Readings are peculiar for inviting the lecturers
from the best higher schools of the country (Moscow, Saint Petersburg and Nizhny Novgorod Universities,
Moscow State Academy of International Relations, Moscow Technical Physics and Engineering Physics
Institutes, Moscow University of Press). Thus, the young participants are given the chance to
communicate with the recognized authorities in science, to familiarize with the variety of scientific
schools and to see the unique experimental facilities, available at RFNC-VNIIEF. The promoters of the Conference - RFNC-VNIIEF, administration of
Sarov city. The sessions cover the following
subjects: Biology, Western Philology, Informatics, History, Literary criticism, Mathematics, Social
science, Physics, Russian Language, Chemistry, Economics. The International Conference "XII
Juvenile Khariton Readings" took place on 28 February -3 March, 2013 in Sarov.
