The XIII international workshop Fundamentals of Plutonium Workshop is held in Sarov on September 9-13,
2013. This workshop continues a series of traditional meetings between Russian and US scientists, whose
professional interests belong to the area of studying the properties of plutonium and other actinides,
which provide better understanding of the behavior of this unique complex material. Previous meetings
took place in Sarov (2001, 2002, 2004, 2007), Los Alamos (2003), Snezhinsk (2005, 2008, 2011), Livermore
(2006), Pleasanton (2009), Moscow (2010), and Abington(2012).
