The 6-th International Exhibition of inventions “IIFME-2013” was held in El-Kuwait (Kuwait) on 18-21 November, 2013. The 6-th International Exhibition of inventions “IIFME-2013” was held in El-Kuwait (Kuwait) on 18-21 November, 2013. The exhibition was organized by the Scientific Club of El Kuwait jointly with the International Show of Inventions in Geneva under personal patronage of His Highness the Emir of El Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah. The Exhibition is one of the most significant and large-scale specialized events in Middle East. Following this the catalog, being the important constituent part of the electronic database related to the objects of intellectual property, is issued.RFNC-VNIIEF took part in the Exhibition for the first time. Four developments were presented at VNIIEF stand: “Spherical absorbers used to deactivate liquid radioactive wastes”, “Semi-products and nano-structured accessories to be applied in engineering structures”, “The device used to store and supply gaseous fuel” and “The device based on biological feedback concept used to recover the functions of human wrist”.
The ambassador of the RF A.V. Solomatin and the members of the government of El Kuwait visited the Exhibition to get familiarized with VNIIEF stand as well. Our projects raised interest in certain representatives of business in El Kuwait, with whom the perspectives of cooperation were discussed.
The Jury awarded the project “The device based on biological feedback concept used to recover the functions of human wrist” with the golden medal (authors O. Shamro and A. Shamro). The invention named “Spherical absorbers used to deactivate liquid radioactive wastes” was awarded with the silver medal (authors L.Danilin, V. Drozhin). Other two inventions named “Semi-products and nano-structured accessories to be applied in engineering structures”, “The device used to store and supply gaseous fuel” (authors A. Yukhimchuk, V. Popov, V. Baluev, S. Grishechkin) were awarded with bronze medal.
The basic goal of participation of the Nuclear Center in the Exhibition was to study the ability to promote the innovative technologies developed in VNIIEF at the Middle East market.
