“Super-computing and mathematical simulation”
From 13 to 17 of October the XV International Conference “Super-computing and mathematical simulation” was held in Sarov. Traditionally the Conference dealt with the most burning problems of high-effective calculations covering a lot of topics like: development of full-scale mathematical models; methods and algorithms of numerical simulation of a wide range of physical processes; de-parallelization of computing processes using multi-processor computers; service backup for calculations; perspective computer architectures and systematic software to support super-computers, etc. Big attention was given to the problems of development of the domestic super-computing technologies from the viewpoint of tailoring and commissioning of the same to the needs of hi-tech companies in Russia and civil branches, which are designing and manufacturing science-intensive products.Over 400 experts from 50 organizations Russia-wide took part in the proceedings of the Conference. The scientists and the experts from the Russian Academy of Sciences, the biggest Russian universities and other institutes presented 124 reports.
