RFNC-VNIIEF has participated in 43-d International Exhibition of Inventions of Geneva, which took place in “Pal Expo” Central Exhibition Complex of the city of Geneva, Switzerland on 15-19 April. More than 750 participants from 48 countries have exhibited their inventions.

The 6-th International Exhibition of inventions “IIFME-2013” was held in El-Kuwait (Kuwait) on 18-21 November, 2013. The exhibition was organized by the Scientific Club of El Kuwait jointly with the International Show of Inventions in Geneva under personal patronage of His Highness the Emir of El Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah. The Exhibition is one of the most significant and large-scale specialized events in Middle East.

The representatives of the Institute of Theoretical and mathematical physics, VNIIEF, took part in the proceedings of the European Aerosol Conference held in Prague on 1 to 6 September, 2013. Yury Balashov and Dmitriy Tsaplin presented their work into simulation of aerosol behavior and the review of data related to certain aspects of experimental research performed in urban environment.

23.04.2012 The International Conference named “Twenty years of collaboration between nuclear centers of Rosatom and the US national laboratories” was opened on 23 April, 2012.

The Conference gathered the scientists and experts from the State Corporation Rosatom, nuclear centers VNIIEF and VNIITF, NIIIS after Yu.E. Sedakov, VNIIA after N.L. Dukhov, OKBM after I.I. Afrikantov.

The biggest exhibition center of Geneva named Geneva-Palexpo became the site for demonstration of thousands of developments, projects and inventions brought together from over 50 countries.

The USA delegation headed by the Deputy Secretary of Energy Mr. Daniel Poneman visited the Russian Federal Nuclear Center, Sarov, on the 27 of June, 2012, to pay tribute to the 20-th anniversary of cooperation between the national US laboratories and the Russian nuclear centers.

The guests visited the basic VNIIEF departments, the production sites, including the radiation complex “Pulsar” and four-channel neodymium facility “Lutch”. When addressing the press the American colleges noted the great importance of international collaboration and development of fundamental and applied science.
